The Matbah’s “Winter Garden” is located on a raised level above the ground floor overlooking the Zeynep Sultan Mosque - built in 1769 by the Ottoman architect Mehmet Tahir Aga – and the Caferaga Mederese, an old theological school built by the world famous architect Sinan in 1576.

Light, warm and welcoming interiors mirror the unique historical atmosphere of the surrounding while the large windows provide a fantastic panorama on both of the neighboring monuments.

The “Winter Garden” can accommodate up to 75 guests for breakfast (open buffet on a long banquet style table), lunch and dinner and is an ideal place for celebratory meals, business gatherings and fine dining. Equipment for business meetings (TV, slide and film projector, microphones, computer, speakers) is also available upon request.
